Water Conservation

Conserving water is essential in our semi-arid Colorado climate. As a townhouse community, we all benefit from reducing our collective water footprint.

Indoor Best Practices
  • Fix Leaks Fast: A single leaky toilet can waste hundreds of gallons a day. If you hear your toilet "running," it likely needs a new flapper.
  • Upgrade Fixtures: Consider installing high-efficiency toilets (1.28 gallons per flush or less) and low-flow showerheads (2.0 gpm or less).
  • Aerators: Ensure all faucets have aerators installed—this simple device reduces flow without sacrificing pressure.
  • Full Loads Only: Only run your dishwasher and washing machine when they are completely full to maximize water efficiency.
  • Mindful Usage: Turn off the water while brushing your teeth, shaving, or washing dishes by hand.
Community Efforts

Because we share landscaping and irrigation responsibilities, the association is actively working on community-wide conservation through xeriscaping.
